HighPoints Learning Wins FundingUniverse "Crowd-Pitch" Competition
Online Math Tutoring Firm Chosen by Expert Panel and Audience as a Company in Which They Would Invest.

DULUTH, GA, March 24, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- HighPoints Learning (HPL) won the FundingUniverse "Crowd Pitch" competition at Inc Magazine's GROWCO entrepreneurs' conference in Orlando, FL last week. Leaders from four companies pitched their businesses to a panel of experts and an audience of 400. Each contestant had four minutes to make their pitch and three minutes to answer questions before hearing feedback from the entrepreneurial and financing experts on the panel. Panel members included:

- Michael E. Gerber, author of the E-Myth Series and The Most Successful Small Business in the World
- Norm Brodsky, founder of CitiStorage and Inc. Street Smarts Columnist
- Steve Mercil, CEO of RAIN Source Capital
- CJ Wilson, founder of Florida Equity Partners
- Andy Craig, Co-Founder of Elevator Speech

Each audience participant was given $100 in play money which they could invest at the end of the presentations. The company pitch or pitches they liked best would get $50 or all $100 they had to invest. In addition, the expert panel members each had $500 to invest. When the counting was done, HighPoints Learning stood victorious.
