Lori S. Bendy facilitate procedures, policies and training for a variety of automobile auctions

INDIANAPOLIS, IN October 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lori S. Bendy, Director of Financial Operations for ADESA, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in finance and accounting.

In 1987, Ms. Bendy began her career in the field of accounting; 10 years later, she joined ADESA. For the last nine years, she has fulfilled the capacity of Director of Financial Operations. Currently, she handles the operational facets of her business, which require her to facilitate procedures, policies and training for a variety of automobile auctions in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Using hands on training or streaming audio and video feed, Ms. Bendy instructs front office staff members in the transfer of titles, payments and dealer registration function during live vehicle auctions and Internet exchanges.

From 1991 to 1996, Ms. Bendy worked as an adjunct professor, teaching at both Indiana University Bloomington and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. In the near future, she hopes to become re-involved with the field of education.

She is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, as well as the University of Notre Dame. From the former, she received an MBA in corporate finance and marketing; the latter, a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting. Certified as a public accountant in 1990, she is active with The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Sorin Society at the University of Notre Dame. Her free time is dedicated to travel, sporting events, and outdoor activities, and her charitable interests include the Humane Society of Indianapolis.
